Client: Fraser Partners
Location: State College, PA
The mixed-use project is located in State College, PA. At a cost of over $50 million, the development includes a 165-room Hyatt Place Hotel, retailers H&M and Target, and the Federal Taphouse restaurant, CVS Health, the Rhode Island pharmacy, added a “store-within-a-store” pharmacy inside the Target, which is a flexible-format, smaller, urban-scaled, store catering to the downtown and college crowd. The residential portion, known as the Fraser Condos, is comprised of 26 high-end condos on the top four floors with prices ranging from just under $500,000 to $1.8 million. It’s already prompted other large projects in the community and is leading the way to take development in downtown State College vertical instead of encouraging urban sprawl. Grantwise partner Capital Construction Management assisted the developers during the construction phase and implementation of a $4 million RACP grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
